Qu2gate

Quantum technologies will be at the core of Europe's next digital revolution. They offer maximum security for the storage and transmission of sensitive data and they can simulate complex systems at ultra-high speed. However, the building blocks of this quantum revolution require further research to meet the standards of scalability and reliability. This project will realize nanoscale single photon emitters, sources of entangled photons, and integrated gates for photon-photon interactions by exploiting the unique optical properties of 2D materials.
